Board of Directors - Chain of Succession |  Effective: 01AUG2011 | Revised: 01AUG2011

The Board of Directors (BoD) is the independent, legal, governing body of the Colonial Defense Forces Corporation.

The BoD consists of 4 members and is self selecting.

Positions;
Executive Director (Executive Authority)
Director (Secretary)
Director (Operations)
Director (Communications)

Any member of the BoD in good standing is empowered to name their own successor, which must be confirmed by majority vote of the remaining Board members.
If the departing members nominations are voted down three(3) times, all remaining BoD members shall advance one position and it shall fall to the remaining BoD members to select the replacement for the now open position.

If any member of the Board is not in good standing or is being removed for cause, all remaining members of the board shall advance one position. The departing member shall have one(1) nomination for the now open position. If that nomination is voted down, it shall fall to the remaining BoD members to select the replacement for the now open position.

Notes;
The Board of Directors is separate from the Octagon. The Octagon is the "fandom" leadership of the Colonial Defense Forces, the BoD is the real world "legal" leadership of the Colonial Defense Forces Corporation.
Inclusion in the Octagon, does not automatically convey inclusion in the BoD or vice versa.
